       Endowment Funds

Named Endowments

You may use a financial gift to create a Named Endowment Fund to honor and memorialize the name(s) placed on it as well as providing a continual resource for Vennard.

The basic idea for an endowed fund is simple.

The principal of the fund is never spent. It is invested so that the earnings are used to fulfill the purpose(s) for which the endowment was created.

Options:

Vennard College offers many gift options to those who wish to associate a family name or the name of a respected individual with a project or program of enduring worth. Donors may use either outright or deferred gifts to establish named-endowed funds.

Purposes:

Funds may be created for scholarships, fellowships, lectureships, research, professorships, library acquisitions, academic chairs, scientific and technical equipment, capital improvements or any other educational purpose of Vennard College.

Particulars:

Vennard College works with each donor, on an individual basis, in preparing guidelines for the administration of each named-endowed fund. The number of guidelines and the degree of specificity will depend upon the donor's wishes and particular circumstances.

Vennard College's Named Endowment Funds program serves as a fine incentive to donors who wish to create a lasting testimonial of gratitude and appreciation.

 Missions Endowment Scholarship Fund

In Memory of John and Masako Trosen

On September 28, 1998 two Vennard graduates, John and Masako Trosen, with their two small children and three other passengers fell from the sky in the Wings of Peace missionary plane John was piloting over the jungles of Bolivia. After several weeks of intense searching they were declared lost ... without a trace. The testimony of their lives given in service to God fuels the passion for our Missions Endowment Scholarship Fund.

Your contributions to this fund will help Vennard

prepare future missionaries with a willingness

to surrender all for the gospel of Jesus Christ.

If you would like more information or would like to contribute to this scholarship fund, please contact our Advancement Department.

 Alumni Endowment Scholarship Fund

A Student Scholarship Initiative

Since Homecoming 2000 the Alumni Board has been taking bold steps in fund raising efforts. We are grateful to our alumni for building the Alumni Endowment Scholarship Fund so students in the present and the future will receive the assistance they need. There are several ways you can help including playing golf in the annual tournament or simply making a cash gift or pledge.

You don’t even have to be an alumnus

to help strengthen the AES Fund!

If you would like more information or would like

to contribute to this scholarship fund, please

contact our Advancement Department.
