RE: WORK STUDY
Vennard College participates in the federal Work Study program as part of Title IV funding to aid needy students, but it's not gift aid.
Though many schools
include a dollar figure in
their Financial Aid Package
to students for federal Work Study, Vennard Financial Aid does not "award" Work Study as if it were gift aid.
Any student who is hired
gets paid to work.

For students who qualify to participate in the federal Work Study program, the federal government reimburses the College for 75% of that student's gross payroll.

Though many schools award a dollar amount for Work Study in their Financial Aid Package to a student, Vennard College does not because Work Study is not gift aid. Since the student must work in order to receive any Work Study money it would be misleading to include any dollar amount as part of an aid package. Students who work on campus are providing aid to themselves and the more they work, the more they receive.

Dollar amounts listed are for full-time enrollment. Awards are pro-rated for half-time or three-quarter-time unless otherwise noted.
