CONSORTIUM OF ONLINE CHRISTIAN COLLEGES:  Vennard College has partnered with the Consortium of Online Christian Colleges (COCC) to allow students the opportunity to take a variety of courses for credit in an online format.  The Consortium provides students with qualified faculty, a variety of college courses for credit, flexible scheduling to complete coursework without going to class, the user-friendly appeal of consistent course formats, and reliable and easily accessible web-based interface.  Online learning takes place using computer technology and the Internet along with textbooks. Policies governing the online learning program are spelled out in detail on the Online Classes page .

CROWN COLLEGE:  Vennard College and Crown College (St. Bonifacus, MN) have entered into a cooperative agreement that outlines benefits to students who transfer to Crown College for programs not available at Vennard College.  These benefits include arrangements for transfer of credit and a Cooperative Grant award.  Specific details for transfer of credit have been agreed upon between Vennard and Crown for graduates of Vennard’s AA – Teacher Education program transferring into Crown’s BS – Elementary/Secondary Education program and for graduates of Vennard’s AA – Christian Music program going into a Bachelors-level music program at Crown. Please contact the Academic Office for more information.

WILLIAM PENN UNIVERSITY:  Since 1987 Vennard College has maintained an active consortial agreement with William Penn University, located nearby in Oskaloosa. Under the terms of the agreement students from either institution may enroll in courses at the other and have the credits earned counted toward their academic program in their home institution. This agreement provides Vennard students access to courses that are not normally available on the Vennard campus. Students in Vennard’s AA-Applied Media Arts & Technology program and the BA-Business Management program have historically made significant use William Penn’s courses to complete their programs. Vennard’s AA-Teacher Education program has been carefully designed to enable students to transfer into a Bachelors-level teacher education program at William Penn upon their graduation from Vennard’s program.

Full-time Vennard students may enroll for up to 7 hours a semester at William Penn with the costs being covered by the block tuition paid to Vennard.  Students taking 8 or more credit hours at William Penn University through Vennard’s consortium with William Penn will pay William Penn tuition rates. Students wishing to enroll in William Penn courses should make arrangements through the Registrar.
